Based with close study on the smaller hand pin found in the Norrie's Law silver hoard found in Fife. Visiting the original in the museum, reference of photos of the original from books and found online was used to recreate this handpin. The head is wax carved and cast using the lost wax casting method and it is soldered onto a pin using silver solder.
