This is a hand made leather belt pouch with bronze and silver fittings. The gold plated bronze and garnet mount is based on a WANE (Woden Artefacts in Numerous Environments) mount from Kings Worthy, England while the silver strap end is based on a bronze Trewhiddle style mount found by a detectorist and now in my own collection.
The pouch is made from thick and sturdy leather which has been hand cut, finished, stitched and dyed by myself. Finished with a mix of beeswax, tallow and lard. The inside of the pouch is quite rough (see final pic) but this shouldn't detract from the finished piece. The overall pouch therefore is not directly based on any specific artefact but is a bit of a Frankenstein's creation of several.
All our packaging is 100% paper. No plastic at all.
