Cast brass of a symbol from the Brough of Birsay. A total fantasy piece but I dont think it would be too out of place in the correct setting. There are similar existing trade weights from the viking period. Set with a copper rivet.
Weight is made from a cast piece which has been stuck into a piece of pewter, patinated and polished. Please note these are props and accurate weights cannot be guaranteed, feel free to contact me if you'd like to know any more.
