This cross is a one of a kind alternative reproduction of a 9th century Anglo Saxon cross which was found in North East Lincolnshire, (LIN-6EB8DA) England. The original cross is plain and is described as (An incomplete early medieval copper-alloy cross pendant).
The base is cut sheet copper and engraved with a setting made from beaded bronze wire encircling an amber cabochon which has been soldered to the cross. I have also riveted the suspension loop closed. The entire cross is gold plated.
