A plain backed pewter disc based on the lead disc found in the Pictish level of the Brough of Birsay as can be seen in the National Museum of Scotland. The exact purpose of the lead disc is unknown but it might have been for producing gold foils or even a mount of some sort. This is just to create an option for you to be inventive and use it how you see fit, I personally have used it as a mount on a leather bag, a trade weight and cast a thicker one to be used as a whorl for a drill.
