This is a ring based on the pennaular clasp from the Whitecleuch massive Pictish silver neck chain found in Lanarkshire, Scotland.

It has been hand carved by myself from wax to a rough size S ring size but as it is pennaular it can be adjusted slightly up or down a couple of sizes. Available in Sterling silver, brass or red bronze. Silver ring weighs approx 16 grams. The size options are approximate, please message me to discuss ring sizes not listed and I will try my best to accommodate. Please note brass and bronze will oxidise which can cause your fingers to turn green.

Currently we have two silver rings in stock.

For gold prices please contact via email.

Please note this is much smaller than the ring from the chain itself so please be aware of that if you are buying it as a reproduction. If you're ever interested in a reproduction of the chain, contact me to discuss :)

Cast by Jewellery Casting Scotland.

Due to the weight of this piece in any solid (not plated) precious metal by law it must be hallmarked. This will take roughly an additional 2-4 weeks. we normally use large hallmarks that stand out, always on the reverse of one sided pendants, the side of double sided pendants or the inside of rings or bracelets. If you would like them to be more subtle please let us know
