Based on the Anglo Saxon cross found buried with a girl in Trumpington. Wax cast in bronze or silver with soldered fittings filled with resin enamel.

Please contact us if you'd like this piece without enamel. We are always open to alter and change any of our pieces to suit your tastes. In the listing the piece might look darker than the finished piece. We artificially darken our silver pieces with liver of sulphur so that the details will show up in photographs but as standard the finished piece will be shiny and polished. If you'd prefer us to darken it then please let us know and we will happily do this for you. This has been cast by Jewellery Casting Scotland and finished with a mixture of power tools and traditional hand tools like files and saws.
Pendant options come with a free black cotton cord. We also have a separate listing with silver chains here if you desire.
We initially thought that the Trumpington cross was fastened with pins. However, the cross was most likely a mount stitched onto fabric instead. The pins can be found here.
All our packaging is 100% paper. No plastic at all.
If you are buying this in precious metal from the UK, by law due to the weight it must be hallmarked.
