Based on the solid gold plaque found during excavations at modern day Bamburgh castle in North eastern England. Same scale as the original artefact which is a mount, possibly for a book but without the border to make a better earring design. Our version is in sterling silver.

This has been carved by myself from wax and then cast in high quality by Jewellery Casting Scotland and finished with a mixture of power tools and traditional hand tools like files and saws.
