This size ring has been made using a mixture of sand casting and filigree wire and granulation techniques. The central diamond has been gold plated before being set into the centre of the ring and set with a hand carved sea glass cabochon from New Aberdour beach. Based on a broken ring fragment from Iona and now in the National Museum of Scotland. (See final photo)
