This pendant is based on the bronze gilt cross found in Ballycotton, Ireland and now in the British museum. Like the original, the body is cast bronze that has been gold plated and has silver bosses riveted in place on each arm. In the centre in a silver setting there is a glass cabochon which I have carved the Arabic text that is present in the original which reads 'sha'a allah' or 'tubna lillah' (or 'bismillah'?).
This piece is ready for dispatch and is very work intensive so cannot be altered.
